Ive read somehwere that Need you lose like 50 lbs of fat for a show?? Im not sure if galaxy and quad stay leaner year round but if you have any suggestions id definitely take them..Just wondering if you wouldnt mind shedding some light on how you consistently go about doing this..Not asking you to reveal your secrets lol but maybe some pointers on what the average gym rat overlooks when trying to get shredded..thanx guys!!!
 
how much you lose depends on where you start at, in the off season I tend to be around 11-13% bodyfat, which means 50lbs is about what I have to lose. This year I attempted to stay leaner, but I could gain any size that way.
As for getting lean, for me it was all in the diet. I had a trainer who is a friend of mine design one for me, it was basically oatmeal, potatoes, egg whites, chicken, tuna, and EFAs, 2500 calories, in a 40-40-20 split. The clen, eca, etc helped, but the diet was everything. I even stopped doing cardio as I was losing too much quad size, and still got down to 4%
 
well i am not quadsweep but I am doing contest now and I started my diet at 275lbs I am now around 227lbs so I have lost 50lbs myself. All I can tell you is that you have to be consistantly consitant. You have to realize that you can look like a BB in the gym but when you get up on stage you are gonna look like a fat ass. Example: several weeks ago people were telling me how good I looked, now the closer I am getting to my show people ask me if I am ok and that I look like shit. Now granted they have not seen my 8pac lol under my shirt. That is the diffrence. I am 5 weeks out from my first show. I must say this has been the hardest I have ever worked for ANYTHING! Period!

Also to be honest I do not like looking the way I look right now. I perfer 15% bf 280 that is my goal after my contest.

Thnx concord, actually its people in ur position that i was interested in..not those that are 8% year round and go to 4% bf for a show..I wanted input from those that drop serious weight..I admire u guys for getting up on stage in them tiny speedos lol..anyway i have no plans to compete but i want to get my bf down to about 6-8% then just bulk without getting above 12%..good like at the show bro..keep us updated..
 
Looking massive concordsize. Just get rid of that fat and you'll look like a million bucks.
