well bow season starts in less than a week here in ohio, so went out and bought myself a new grunt. this thing is badass. its the m.a.d. calls twist action grunt, bleat, and fawn. any of you guys use it? what about lures, what do you use, scent sticks, etc?

Hubby goes turkey hunting down in the area I told ya about above.

ALOS.....He uses scent sticks, and has allll the calling toys for turkey and deer. CRIPES, HE EVEN USES SPECIAL SOAP TO WASH HIS HUNTING CLOTHES SO HIS SCENT CAN NOT BE PICKED UP ON THE GEAR...He's a fanatic about hunting!

i know i know! i usally hunt noble county, the ohio power area, but its hard to get all the way down there sometimes

Ahhhhh, you sent for the special permit to hunt on that land huh? Guess who else does that....YEP, my man.

If you ever get the chance....I hear that Hancock County in Northwest Ohio also has some great hunting. I'm guessing that is approx. 4 hours from you in Parma. A tad bit closer for you than the southern area. My man is heading there to hunt after Thanksgiving. He's hoping for prime hunting there..I guess it's a lot of farm area with the Blachard River close by..he's excited about a new hunting site!
