So I got all my gear ready and was stoked to get my first pin going. I woke up extra early this morning because I have class. I showered to heat the muscle, warmed my syringe in hot water. I decided to do the VG. It took me about 3 minutes to work up the courage to stick myself. Finally did it and I literally did not feel a thing. I aspirated and the tiniest bubble entered the syringe. Then, I panicked and convinced myself I wasn't in the muscle and withdrew the syringe. Only a tiny dot of blood came out. I had to go to class so I am about to make my second attempt now. Any way of knowing for sure you're in muscle?
 
Using a long enough needle and sinking it in all the way is really the only way to be sure. 1-1/2 inch for quads and glutes and 1 inch for shoulders.
 
I just sacked up and did it. I just ended up doing it in the upper outer quadrant of my glute. I used a 25g pin and injected 250 mg so 1 ml. I read it takes like 60 seconds to push that through a 25 but I got it through in like 30 seconds, is that fine?
 
Yeah, I thought I was injecting it pretty slow, then all of a sudden I was like oh its done. I made sure I heated up the oil first and then I went on a quick bike ride after to move it around.
 
30 seconds is fine for 1cc. What inch needle did you use? I hope 1.5" because 1" isn't good enough for glutes.
 
Why isn't 1 inch good enough for glutres? When I use 1.5 I'm scared to go all the way in, don't wanna hit bone.
 
I used 1 inch. I read a lot of places saying 1 inch was fine as long as you went all the way in. If It's sore in the muscle tomorrow that means im good and hit muscle right?
 
Ive been alternating delt injects the past 10 pins. I have really taken a liking to pinning. 1 inch all the way. I was doing 1 1/2 for a while but I kept going to deep, fuck that hurt at first, 1 inch is great for delt. I haven't done glutes yet, would like to try but I'm afraid of the soreness, I snowboard daily and don't want it to affect me. How is your soreness?!
