ativan dosage

anyone use ativan (lorazepam) for anxiety (from AAS of course)? curious to dosage. 2mg klonipin works well.....the range for ativan is 2-6mg daily which is the diff between one and two 2.5mg pills. escpecially anyone who has used both klonipin and ativan.

don't mess around with that man. you get used to it then you need more and eventually have to get off of it. not worth it man. just stick with a little klonopin

First response to you since our little tiff a while back. The dosage for sleep problems is 1 mg prior to bed use to help shut the brain down, this is for people who have trouble with constantly going over the days events prior to going to sleep. With anxiety the dose may start at 1mg in the pm with .5 in the am. If this doesnt help, it follows to add .5 at lunch for a total of 2mg/day. Then incremental adjustments are made until symptoms are relieved. The main dose is always in the evening usually representing one-half the days total dose. So perhaps you have a tolerance like somepeople use alcohol do (I know you dont, but some still have a natural tolerance or using aas) a schedule maybe 2mg at bedtime and 1mg in the am and 1 mg at around twopm. I think for that is alot for anyone, that was what I was taking a few years back at 260 and I was a zombie and threw it all a way 'cus I was in a constant cloud. if you could stop being a dick for a few minutes......j/k....lol. i figure break the 2.5mg in half and take half in morning and half in the afternoon. i got ambien for night time if i need it for sleep. that should be enough for my little old self at 180-200lb. j/k again. i'll try it out and if i don't like it i'll go back to klonipin....was working well....don't know why i am switching, i guess just cuz i got 'em here. but the klonipin even makes me a bit tired and zoned out. i'll see what the ativan does. i need to be in a cloud believe me. thanks.

That'll probably work my friend, but you have to askyourself why youre taking it? If its to sleep then Just take it all at bedtime, otherwise you may feel lethargic throughout the day. BUT, benzos are more individual than any other drug includin AAs

oh, for anti-anxiety and obssessive thoughts (not actions though thankfully). social anxiety for the most part. need to be sedated. sleeping i am usually fine with, but with fina in the mix right now i am taking one 10mg ambien a night for the 6-7 weeks for sure, almost done with it. one more week or so. and i'll give you karma for being a baby!

Ativan hits me harder than valium or clonipin, but mg for mg xanax has to be the most powerful benzo in my experience- I'll never take it again.

Ativan hits you faster and harder than clonazepam (Klonipin). It is safer to stick with clonazepam. Ativan is very addictive and it takes a short time to become dependant on it. I was using ativan for the same reasons you are for about 6 months. Withdrawing from them was pure hell. I didn't sleep for 2 weeks and all the anxiety it saved me during that time hit me back hard....rebound anxiety they call....I call it fuckin' nuts. That's exctly what I felt like. Again, clonazepam is better.

yeah, ativan is supposed to be king benzo....but nothing is quite like xanax. reason i stopped taking that after a long while. yes people out there....stopped with nothing else! lol. amazing but true! i decided to try klonipin a bit later down the road, and knew i woiuld be stupid enough to use fina again...so reason i am on klonipin right now. had 30 ativan here, i guess i just had to see what they did.

yeah, the half life wasn't what i thought it would be (10-20 hours) so i split the tab in half and take it morning and afternoon.
