kevorkian spending those years in jail was one of the greatest travesties of our modern judicial system. All the people he helped commit suicide were "terminal" patients who were immobile, so they couldnt very well do it themselves, and were in constant agonizing pain and didn't want to put their families through months of watching them waste away......which is COMPLETELY honorable despite whatever some fuckface christian schmuck with his own TV show say's. i think in theory assisted suicide should completely be legal, but think about how hard it would be...youd probably have to apply for some super high security suicide liscence, otherwise people could stage "assisted suicides" during something as easy as a doctors visit, an dget away with lots of murders.

and where do you draw the line...if someones talking shit and you shoot him u can be like "he was asking for it i had a gun he probably wanted to die"

this is why our country wont legalize it....too hard to control. like prostitution, they clame religious imorality but in escents its a uncontrolable profession and they wont get their tax money.

and yes im all for assited suicide if your terminally ill and dont want to burden the family and such. but what about those that were told they will dies in a few months and live for 15 more years? you see its hard to regulate it. even though the doctor might say terminal but the courts will over rule the decision and say theres a possibility of getting better.

Go by the pain level. When quality of life drops below an acceptable level, then it doesn't matter how much longer someone could persist.

best way for suicide is to find a dealer, buy a fuckload of whatever drug you feel like doing before you die, and ODing on it...its suicide for a reason, just kill yourself, why deal with a middle man?

yeah but what is their quality of life for those extra years? Modern medicine nowadays can really string shit out..........I don't want to live in pain for 15 years, nor would I want to live that long not being able to take my own shit.........
