Assault & Bullet Proof… that’s what I’m packing in my Athletes Arsenal!

Ok, well... we all know that this stuff mixes great.... smells great and hell... if you could put that whole bag of raspberry cotton candy in your mouth... that's how it taste.

I'm cutting out all the BS and just given you the raw facts......

I've tested several supplements for multiple companies... but I'm a virgin when it comes to pre-workout drinks. The one's I've tried either didn't work... made my stomach hurt to the point that I couldn't workout... and even made me puke! With little to no success.... just to feel strung out on sugar and a headache afterward.

Then there's Muscle Pharms "Assault"

Well, my first encounter with MP's Assault was right on point. I'm looking forward to the next 5-6 weeks. Trust me... like the rest... I could have mixed it all up like old school Kook-Aid and drank the whole thing tonight!

As for Bullet Proof - I'll be adding this in on Thursday. I want to asses the Assault a few days before adding this into the mix.

haha very well put, yup the taste is awesome .. Mp is actually working on more flavors as we speak ..hopefully we will be able to beat this and keep on improving :)

Seems like a nice idea, looking fwd to seeing how you react to bulletproof
 
Well, the conference is over and heading back home. Since I was spending about 10 plus hours a day in meetings...I only did a 1/2 scoop of Assault in the morning and performed 100 push-ups (am) and some crunches (pm) before bed.
 
Still pretty sweet... Chest,shoulders and tri's still looked pump'd about 4 hours into my day! Gotta love that!
 
Mix: 8/10 - Water was just a little to cold, other than that.... damn good tasting pre-workout drink

Energy: 8/10 - Still dragging ass from sitting in meetings for 3 days, but this kicked me in high gear to workout. Even though it was a light workout, this gave me a clean energy to perform what I needed to do. Having that clean energy and not the shakes... is critical (in my opinion) when your trying to workout.

Pumps/Endurance/Focus: 10/10 - Sick pumps... I think seeing the pumps gave me the extra stay power to keep going.

Diet
Well, diet is always on point, so that won't change till the end of this log.....

Tonight wasn't scheduled as planned, but I felt I needed to do chest/tri's.... I'll be back on my planned schedule this Sunday. Went a little light tonight since I'll be hitting same body parts on Sunday...

Overall:
The workout in itself was more of a get pumped type of action, rather than....let me go extremely heavy. Going heavy, is the plan for next week. As for Assault, I'm really liking how it makes me feel and so far... it's brining everything it claims. I'm looking forward to see if I'm able to break any of my PR's (they are posted in an earlier post).
As for Bullet Proof, I'll be working that in on Sunday as well.....

haha sweet, does this product gives you the tingles from BA ..well im not sure how you react to stims ..but other users luv the BA in Assault

Using about 12 oz of water to mix. 6oz of room temp and 6oz from frig.

As for BA, first experience with it and I get pins and needles on my traps and middle back. Legs felt a little this way after run.

I've found that 16 oz is the sweet spot for me when it comes to Assault! Perfect taste and gives me a nice amount of fluids right before my workout.

Overall:
As stated before.. my summer workouts were pretty lame.. maybe 3 a week. This was my first day back to the actual gym and wanted to just get the body back into a routine. By no means are these number near any workout numbers or PR's. Not sure if anyone else that is logging Assault or using the product has noticed a more “solid” feeling to your muscles. I've noticed that everything’s starting to tighten up pretty nice.

Sunday - I'll be adding in Bullet Proof to the mix! :sleeping:
