Something occurred to me earlier today that had me wondering.
I have done a few cycles of gear and always when drawing used and 18 or 20 g needle for drawing. When I did my injection today I thought I would just try and draw some test E into my syringe with my 23g shooting needle. I wasn't able to, however, admittedly I forgot to heat up the oil a little this time around. So i slapped on an 18, drew with that and injected with the 23. It took a while to hit me, but after the injection I wondered if that the oil couldn't be drawn with a 23, how could blood? Isn't blood itself quite thick? What if I just got lucky all the other times and haven't hit a vessel? How would I know if when aspirating I actually hit a vein but simply couldn't suck blood into it?
Of course, I calmed down and just figured that the needle wasn't fit tight enough to the syringe or some other error on my part was a result. I was just wondering if anyone here had any thoughts on the matter?
