aspiration- got strange sensation

when doing a quad shot, i aspirated and while I usually have a hard time pulling plunger back, this time it came back pretty easy.

more importantly, while I didn't see any blood in base of needle (but its sort of greyed not clear, so might miss it), I got a suction type twinge going down my leg from injection site about 6-7 inches. after shot started to get sort of a cough type sensation but not severe like I've read here (pschosomatic?).

anyway, is the suction twinge down leg indicative of anything (sucking in a vein that I then shot into)?

No, those are not symptoms of shooting into a vein. I think you will live. Not really sure what you mean "suction twinge" but you could have injected by a nerve. Dont worry about it, though if you were by a nerve, you will be sore.

From what I have heard (never done it myself), if you hit a vein and aspirate YOU WILL KNOW. Apparently, blood is everywhere. It POURS into the syringe. You can nick a vein and blood dribbles out of the hole when you take out the needle (which is normal). But you can't miss blood pouring into the syringe, even with a grey syringe.

I bet you injected near a big vein, that is it. Don't buy a graveyard plot yet.
