Aspartame, MSG, Dumbing Down Society

I didn't click the link, but I will answer the title... I gave up ALL diet soda about 2 years ago, after I found out about aspartame. It's in nearly all diet Coca-Cola and Pepsi Co beverages. Only some Shasta and Hansens don't have it. It causes memory loss, and I can personally state that this was MY experience! About 6 months after I quit, I stopped losing my keys, sunglasses, or worse, I even went out and started driving down the street, but forgot where I was supposed to be going. (NO, I've never been on drugs or alcohol either). But I was putting down about a 6-pack a day of Diet Coke.
The only reason that safer sweeteners aren't being used, is that the makers of Aspartame have a lot of political clout.

WOW. I just watched that vid and I have those symptoms (memory issues sometimes) I thought I was just a ditzy professor. I am quitting diet coke today. I am going to read up on this to make sure it is not BS but I have read about other issues with aspartame.

You may want to try diet coke with splenda and see of the memory issues subside. That's an entirely different sweetener molecule so even if it does have side effects, they shouldn't be the same ones.

Yeah, it's always best to not experiment and find the true source of the problem when you can always make a knee-jerk reaction and just eliminate anything that feels wrong.
That's the kind of reasoning you need to have in order to be such as smashing success in life that you can't afford $0.266 per day for a site whose server space you waste on a daily basis.

You haven't spent the last three years here whining day in and day out about how everyone else in society should pay for your stuff.

Oh I wish you tool....I just spent 10k on school, 1k on a new laptop, and 2k will be spent in the next few months on a new desktop. Yes, I'm "sponging" off society. LOL I've not "once" in the last 3 years said anybody should pay for "anything" of mine. If anything, I'm the one who's willing to pay extra in taxes to help other people out while you, who has alot money.....are the filthy little turd mizer who doesn't want to have any societal responseability whatsoever. I see your financial accuity isn't quite what you make it to be, I just gave a pretty significant list of expenses that don't include everyday living stuff like car payment, insurance, food etc... Accounting wasn't a strong suit of yours was it?
And pardon me if your self righteous smugness doesn't quite land.......this is the guy who was extolling to me the virtues of low rent costco chicken breasts. Seems to me someone else might be feeling the economic pinch as well. What, can't afford organic free range or even prime choice from your local giant eagle?
