i sprained my sacral joint a few years ago- arching is painful for me. i stretch it by benching on a piece of pvc pipe- going progressively bigger. its helped, but i ALWAYS have back pain after a competition.

I have horrible trouble arching without days of pain afterwards. I get extremely jealous when I see a 115lb 16-year old girl step up with a 12" high arch and bench a plate and a half with a 8" ROM.
Maybe I need a 56" waiste to compensate. Then I'd be a real PLer, lol.
