No I don't consider it at all. In the studies they've done to show that lipids profiles may be a predictor of CAD they never take into consideration the lifestyle of the people with the poor profiles. It's true that people with even 80-90% percent blockages can still conduct strenuous exercises, but it rare that someone who runs five miles a day and eats no red meat or pork is going to have an early heart attack.
I don't even remember what the profile numbers were. I was a year ago and I told the doctor to leave it be. My triglycerides, echo stress test, and all other CAD predictors are perfect. Although no non-evasive test is very accurate.
