IMO his appearance is superior to modern BB because he still looks athletic. Like he could play football or baseball and jump, etc.

I love arnold and would never take anything away from the man but fuck the old school shit. Body biulding would be no where as popular today without the freaks. The bigger and more unhuman the better. I don't want pretty boys in speedo's on stage. I want huge freaks that look frightning. Outragousness is awsome. Arnold looked great, everything i read here is true but it's past it's time.

I think the community in general would be under a lot less pressure and a lot more accepted by the public if guys like Arnold were back on top. Universal aesthetic appeal and personality.

What if Flex beat Ronnie in 1998 or 1999 for that matter? Would that have affected todays standard for mass and shape?

Bro. He's taking millions away from the school system as well. Thousands of teachers are getting layed off because of lack of funding. This equals hundreds of dollars less per student. He's a failure as governor and should have stuck to movies.

As far as bodybuilding I think his physique was perfect, and his legs were BIG for that time period. You don't win Mr. O with less then a perfect body.

Arnold was the best, phenomenal genetics and an incredible work ethic...this work ethic carried over into his acting and political career. Whether you like Arnold or not, you have to admit his success defines everything that the American dream represents - work your ass off, have a little hope and you can make your dreams come true.
