i read on another board that mash hit a 970 squat and a 700 bench and a new 220 record for total, and that chuck bombed? anyone here know any more results or if that was correct?

Well guys...I'm still up here at the Arnold - tired as hell tonight. I worked the Beverly booth all day today - but yesterday I spent all day at the powerlifting area. I had the pleasure of a front row seat and sat often times ~ 10 feet from the monolift, bench - etc. Yes, it was very unfortunate that Chuck bombed out, but as the true sportsmen he is, could be found behind the curtains all day today - helping out, etc. I saw some amazing stuff. 19 year old Nick Hatch at 148 hit a solid 788 squat and just missed 804. He totaled world records yesterday and was phenomenal. 'Lionheart' - Ronnie Palmer was crazy strong at 165 with an 800 squat. There was a 198 I met today and had my picture with - who squated yesterday 909.4 - I didn't get his name, but he has totaled some world records as well.

I'll post up some pictures this coming week of all these guys and I will try to get all the details I can - although the official totals will probably be on the web before I get home tomorrow afternoon. The pics should be good as I had my 35mm at close range. :)

Take care.

Aww....I wish I woulda known you were working the Bev booth Sis. I was in the Europa booth when at the expo and would have loved to have said hello.

Tell me Arnold Coleman isn't impressive as hell? Vogelpohl is totally a class act by helping out after he missed his lifts. I wanted to see him deadlift. I don't know how a misload can happen at that weight at a pro show. I was upset about that. I know that blew it for him.

Lionheart is a favorite of mine and I got to speak with him a bit. Hatch is going to be really good.

My friend Clay Brandenburg took 2nd behind kenelly in the bench. He was mad at himself because he only got an 825 bench.

Mash is a class act all the way. Don't you think he looks a lot like coan? Who by the way is a great guy in his own right. I would like to see Coan get healthy so he can do the WPO next year at the Arnold.

We have to hook up next year sis,

Aww - so close! I think the Europa booth was right around the corner from us. We were so busy all day. Sold out of almost all our product by the end of Saturday. It was really crazy. My good friend out of Indianapolis works with Lionheart and they came over to the Bev booth. He seems humble and kind. Yes, that damn misload...I was so bummed out. I have a cool picture I may post up of Chuck for a short bit. I usually work the Bev booth each year, but who knows what will happen next year....I might want to watch the Powerlifting both days. :)

Going to scan some pics tonight to post up. Catch you later.
