Armani Exchange

Hey fellas I have NEVER shopped there but this summer Im gonna change my whole wardrobe. Want to look like a million bucks. So anyway its Armani so I know its gonna cost me shit loads of cash but gimme actuallt prices. Like slacks, dress shirts, jeans, suits etc etc etc I wanna get an idea about exactly how much cash Ill be spending.

damn yo thats great. Armani for the Blue Collar Worker. I like it. U guys no any good stores to go suit shopping. I like to pick up some DKNY, Ralph LAuren suits.

bro, armani exchange is in, but it ain't gonna make you look sleek. If you wanna wear sleek clothes, I'd go with this:

Slacks : Bernini high-twist pants ($150)
Shirts/Ties : Tino Cosma (about $130-150 for shirts)
Boss ($70-80 for shirts)
Belt: Gucci reversible belt (just need this one belt and it will
impress)
Jeans: Mavi ($55), Silvertab ($35)

Shoes depends on your style. Allen-Edmonds should have stuff you like, and there's also Ecko, Kennth Cole, and others

That's pretty much it. For suits, I would look into something tailor-made (one of these is better than 5 off the rack suits). Brioni makes awesome ones, as does Turnbull & Asser and some others.

I'd also recommend a brown suede jacket or something from Polo and some other side accessories if you got the money. Good luck

Junk Yard Dog,

How old are you anyway?

Also, Boss has a 40% off fall styles sale going on, but it'll end pretty soon. I would go see what they have first if you wanna save some money.

Im a young fella. 21 I just feel its really time to start not only acting like a grown man but to also LOOK THE PART. This summer I wanna spend up to a grand a month on clothing. Doenst sound like much but thats all I can afford and will keep looking at deals

young fella at 21? I'm even younger than you are, 19!

Fact is, just as many college girls like the sleek look as girls who like the dirty/thug look; I'd say more girls prefer the sleek look, IMO. Difference is, you can also wear these clothes at parties or work and actually get some respect, which you can't do while wearing a $150 jeans from Diesel and a $50 battered shirt from Abercrombie!

I'd say drop the suits and 2-3 grand will be enough for everything you can wish for: slacks, shirts, some ties (not necessary, maybe a couple), a couple of belts, couple of jackets (one black leather, one brown suede), couple of sweaters, 2-3 pairs of shoes, and whatever else I'm forgetting.

I did the same thing a few months back and I've almost lost interest in my old clothes :) If I were you , I'd stay away from some of these crazy stores (e.g a D&G shirt will cost way too much when you consider it's not even universally appreciated). You wanna stick with stuff that fits well, looks good, and is appreciated by as many ppl as possible. If you love styling but still have a budget, that saying should make it easier to get the look you want.

P.S - You wanna complement the high end clothes with some accessories that higlight your youth, etc. This can be done with the shades you wear, or the watch, the haircut, or even one of those Abercrombie necklaces.

armani costs the same as ECKO and Sean Jean here in ATL. i wear alot of armani. just remember everything there runs small. girls definitely go for armani too. :)
