I'm right handed and I always knew my LEFT arm was bigger than my right but I never knew by an inch, I measured 5 times, AN INCH.. DAMMM how the hell does that happen? how the hell can I get it 2 catch up?? neither arm is stronger than the other. somebody help please..

When you hit bi's , do you do alot with a ez-curl/ barbell, or dumbells. I had the exact same problem exept the arms were switched.

I have the same problem due to an injury. Mine is definately the tricept. I decided to pick 1 day a week where I just do the right tricept for a few sets (after whatever else I do that day).

Do you work out with machines? Try working out with dumbells as much as possible.

KILLER2001: yea I do a few dumbbell exercises every bi workout and I switch every other week with either ez bar or straight.. central/south nj (ocean county) why you from NJ what part?

nuh_mizer: that sound like it might help, hows it working out for u?

40butpumpin:maybe 1 machine per bi workout, any suggestions, I dont have a clue besides what nuh_mizer does, I know an inch will take a while to achieve thats why I want 2 start right away and today is bi's and tri's...

I used mostly all dumbells to fix the problem. Especially exercises where i could complelty isolate and concentrate on the smaller arm. (Incline curls worked great) . I tested my smaller arm to see what there max weight was failure at the 8th rep. Although my other arm could handle the weight easilly and wasnt really growing, i stuck with whatever the weaker one could handle.

Central Jersey, Mercer county

I have the same problem stemming from an injured right RC. My right arm is weak and puny compared to my left. Nature is helping me even them out now, my tendonitis is acting up in my left arm now, while my RC doesn't hurt any more.

But more seriously, focus on the movement with the right arm, hold the contraction, etc. Use DB's to focus more on that arm, but watch out for overtraining.

so I will train my bi's with db's only, concentrating on my smaller bi, hold the contraction, and I will also work my smaller arm only for a few sets 1 more time per week.. anyone else have any suggestions? thx for the help fellas.
