Arimidex vs Nolvadex

What is the difference in these 2 ( I know they are anti e's) and is there that much of a difference as how they should be incorporated in cycle. Nolvadex seems a lot cheaper.. I s arimdex/liquidex necessary? Is vitex a sutable substitiue assuming clomid is being used.. just curious

a) they are not both anti e's. Arimidex (anastrozole) prevents the converstion of T to E by the aromatase enzyme.

b) Nolvadex (tamoxifen citrate) does not stop your normal accumulation of E, but rather binds to the ER (estrogen receptor) and prevents activation of ERE (estrogen response element) target genes in many tissues, where they would normally be activated by E bound to the ER. It "competes" with E for binding to the ER.

c) do not substitute vitex in for anything.

d) in all fairness, i would use tamoxifen for the price. i used liquidex and like it, but its too expensive. ::shrugs:: furhtermore, while liquidex is a wonderful wonderful thing, there are health problems asslociated by totally shutting off E production in men, which anastozole does.

IMO - liquidex is much better as nolvadex can slow IGF-1 productions.

Liquidex is not an anti-e but an anti-aromatized. It keeps test from ever converting into estrogen. So it does nothing to estrogen already in production.

Nolvadex binds to the receptor sites, which does not allow estrogen to bind, but you will still have the estrogen in your body.

there is a reason to have both when you do a heavy tes cycle

lets put it this way

you start using a large amount of tes and the appropriate amount of liquid x for the dose

1. you start to have symtoms of gyno despite the liquid x

solution take nolva along with the liquid x

2 you start to have lack of estrogen sides

reduce liquid x and be prepared to start the nolva

3 perhaps a nolva hcg liquid x recovery program

believe me i will have liquid x nolva and clomid on hand during my next cycle

vitex from what i understand is supposed to combat progestin gyno associated with deca and fina

Thannks for the help guys I am now straightened out

Hey acne man.. How do you know if it is prog induced gyno vs regular gyno if you are taking fina/tes deca/test .. etc

also what are symptoms of "lack of estrogen" side effects
