a) they are not both anti e's. Arimidex (anastrozole) prevents the converstion of T to E by the aromatase enzyme.
b) Nolvadex (tamoxifen citrate) does not stop your normal accumulation of E, but rather binds to the ER (estrogen receptor) and prevents activation of ERE (estrogen response element) target genes in many tissues, where they would normally be activated by E bound to the ER. It "competes" with E for binding to the ER.
c) do not substitute vitex in for anything.
d) in all fairness, i would use tamoxifen for the price. i used liquidex and like it, but its too expensive. ::shrugs:: furhtermore, while liquidex is a wonderful wonderful thing, there are health problems asslociated by totally shutting off E production in men, which anastozole does.
