Arimidex to reduce water bloat - how long?

let's assume you had some moderate water bloat (face, etc) from test - and started 1/2 arimidex ED - how long does it usually take for the bloat to subside?

I noticed it in a few days (approx. 3 days)

longer if on a heavy cycle if Adex does not work use Aromasin

It takes about a week on a decent cycle because even though you've eliminated the enzyme causing estrogen formation within a couple of days, you still need time for your body to process any existing estrogen formed prior to starting the arimidex, both from your blood and built up in body tissues. You will need to restrict sodium intake also to see a significant difference in bloat. If you don't restrict your sodium intake then you might only drop 1 or 2 lbs of bloat depending on your starting point. Restricting both sodium intake and eliminating estrogen will make a big difference.

to save $$$ i usually dont start anti-e's untill i notice a problem....witch is usually 2-3 weeks after i started a cycle.

AI and SERMS are banned substances - but who really know if drug tests in sports cover everything on the list or some subset - Any feedback?

not sure of the 1/2 life ive seen it before though, i think its only a couple days. I would check anthony roberts sight or bodybuilding.com or steroids.com

1/2 life of arimidex is 7 days - but the real question is how long is it detectable in urine tests...

Anastrozole is eliminated slowly with a plasma elimination half-life of approximately 50 hours in postmenopausal women. The pharmacokinetics of anastrozole are linear over the dose range of 1 to 20 mg and do not change with repeated dosing. Consistent with the 50 hour plasma elimination half-life, plasma concentrations of anastrozole approach steady-state concentrations after 7 days of once daily dosing and are approximately 3- to 4-fold higher than the concentrations observed after a single dose of anastrozole. The protein binding of anastrozole to plasma proteins is about 40% and independent of concentration over a range which includes therapeutic concentrations.
