Aright here we go...I need some help guys(PLEASE)

My first post..

okay well I want to ask you people for a favor, I need some help getting started basically. here are some details about me

I just turned 19 not too long ago. Ive been lifting on and off but Im a former HS basketball player and I was supposed to keep playing at community college. But during the summer after my senior year I tried to get in the best shape I could and I overdid it and got injured, which led me to sit out last year. Now this summer I started getting back in shape after I was cleared to do so by doctors so I've been again lifting on and off... the problem is this one year of college life took everything away from me and Im not trying to go back to community college to play basketball(i dont think you can even do that) so all I want to do is bulk up and keep myself in shape --- so thats my goal I guess.

now little more about the way I am built...
I'm 6' 6' 235 pounds but lot of that is fat especially in my upper body. Lets just say before I got injured last year I weighted about 186 lbs( to make it clear I was about 220 before I started gettin in shape then I went down to 186 and now back up to 235-240) and I dont want anyone thinking i was being anarexic or something all I did was just go down to my home in europe somehwere where its really hot and train for 3 months with my brother.
I reached some good results but you know how sometimes life treats you and somthing bad happens, but oh well it doesnt matter.

okay so now I'm just gonna rephrase what I want to do and make it clear. I'm almost 100% sure basketball is over for me so like I said what i'm planning to do is start working out seriusly starting lets say next week, Im planning on working out at least 4 times a week for the starters, get on a right diet, stop drinking???? do some cardio(im not trying to lose too much weight though I just want to get big cause im sure basketballs over for me...)

what I need from you guys is a little advice on what type of legal supplements I can use to start my quest in gettin big(no roids for now) just something I can go to the store and buy..

I want to lose fat and get bigger, turn fat into muscle also works..

sorry if you guys dont discuss stuff like this here but I dont wanna start out with roids right now just something that will have me going and help me get in shape....

some stuff I have tried in the past is, creatine, some andro that i bought at gnc, some milkshakes for gaining weight...

but yes if anyone could recomend me a good cycle of some legal supplements that would be great


P.S I tried looking through threads but theres so many and I couldnt find anyone in the same position as me so I figured it would be okay to start a new thread and if its not then sorry...

1. Lots of hard work.
2. Get a great diet.
3. Buy a good protein powder and amino acid.
4. Do not waste money on any other products, except for maybe a creatine and dextrose mix.

yea hard work obviusly needs to be there and I know I can do that...

well diet if anyone can paste something into this message that would be great if not I pretty much have an idea what to do(I hope)

okay no thats the thing I dont know whats good and whats not I've never really been into this, thats where I need help...

if you guys got some specific ones that u know will do some good please let me know..
 
DO NOT take andro!

At best, supplements (the good ones) will give you a little extra edge. But you have such a long way to go, they aren't even needed. Just eat lots of protein -- which you can get from food. If you want to add some protein shakes, you can get it much cheaper than the retail stores at www.proteinfactory.com The main thing is to train hard and eat clean and you'll make progress.
 
what about some other fat loss stuff that will give me more energy and strength... Im not tryin to turn into a body builder in a day but I dont wanna just waste my time either.
 
yea your definetly right about eating at night... I have experiece with that and I did stop doing it... for some reason its harder for me to get big just because the way im built and thats why I was thinking on gettin on some fat loss pills while tryin to gain muscle if something like that exists and you guys would recomend
 
Agreed w/ Nelson. Keep your protein up and stay away from junk food. If you want to grow, lift weights...I like working out every day. I train each body part twice per week (In the last 4 month) and have seen the best results ever by splitting this way. I am 36 yrs old and seeing good results, you should see great results at 19.
As far as "diet" (I hate that word) Just eat sensible. Watch your fat intake and eating times. Don't eat a full course spread and then go home and go to sleep. I personally have and have always had a super slow digestive system and metabolic rate so I don't like eating anytime after 4 hours before bed. Just my opinions.

how many situps you guys think I should do... I'm trying to get rid of the belly

you guys think 100 in the morning 100 at night would work?
 
I would not do sit ups to get rid of a belly. It will make it bigger as your muscles grow. I thought you said that you did not want to lose that much weight...but if you have a lot of fat arounf the mid sections...Cardio....And more Cardio! Sit ups wont work!
 
hmm well its not an actual belly you know its just exta fat that needs to go or turn into muscle... If i do too much cardio i will end up skinny again thats why I wanna lift a lot and do some cardio in order to get rid of the fat... I dont even care if I have some fat around me its just that i dont want too much of it.
 
Then pump a lot of iron! situp build your abs. cardio and diet is for fat loss. If you want to keep your weight the same...You are going to need a good weight lifting program...either way, you will still prob see some weight loss until your muscles start really grow, which should not be long at age 19...but I would work abs, only twice per week, but thats me.
 
so anyway no other suggestions on what I should try other then creatin and protein? is there anything on this website that someone would recomend? I saw a sticky message advertising some fat burning stuff, is it any good? I dont wanna lose money you know.. I was at some point about to order from legalsteroids.com but then i read about that on here and realised they are scammers...my friend used it and i didnt see much difference on him either tell you the truth..

oh yea how come you guys think andro is bad?

I wanna get this started asap you kno while im in a mood.
