Had to make a decision on what to eat for lunch today since I forgot my chicken at home. I'm on day 4 of my ketosis diet and the choices were somewhat limited around here, plus I only had 6 bucks on me. I decided to grab a bag of beef jerky. Looked at the contents on all the bags and the only "bad" thing on there was high levels of sodium.
I don't know what made me do this but I looked at a few bags to see which one had the biggest peices in it, I was going to get the peppered kind. Well I bought the bag and drove away and realized I picked up f'n Teriyaki.....ah well, no big deal I like the taste. It didn't hit me that it probably had sugar in it until afterward.
20 grams of sugary carbs in the bag
It sucks b/c I was just starting to get deeper into ketosis last night and I'm sure this is gonna boot me right back out #!@%)(
