ARGGHH this pisses me off! (hidden carbs)

Had to make a decision on what to eat for lunch today since I forgot my chicken at home. I'm on day 4 of my ketosis diet and the choices were somewhat limited around here, plus I only had 6 bucks on me. I decided to grab a bag of beef jerky. Looked at the contents on all the bags and the only "bad" thing on there was high levels of sodium.

I don't know what made me do this but I looked at a few bags to see which one had the biggest peices in it, I was going to get the peppered kind. Well I bought the bag and drove away and realized I picked up f'n Teriyaki.....ah well, no big deal I like the taste. It didn't hit me that it probably had sugar in it until afterward.

20 grams of sugary carbs in the bag :( It sucks b/c I was just starting to get deeper into ketosis last night and I'm sure this is gonna boot me right back out #!@%)(

Yea, there are a couple of brands out there that use lots of sugar...

Best bet, no additional flavoring, and if it tastes sweet, it was sugar cured...stay away. Jerky should taste like dry beef, not sweet.

Anyone suggest brands?
