Just out of curioisity, do you have fast twitch or slow twitch fibers. Can you please post the results.
(To determine your fiber make up, hold 80% of your 1rep max weight for as much as you can. The faster muscle failes, the more fast twitch fibers it has, and vice versa. However do Isolation on machines .)
The ratio of fast vs slow twitch muscle fibres is tricky to determine , the way you described is one of many ways but they are all very sketchy the only way to know is muscle byopsy , i have done much research on this subject and when i began targeting specific fibres i maid the best gains i have ever made , however the rule of thumb given in most literature on fibre make up (calves slow twitch , hams fast switch ) are not universal , by far the most knowledgeable person on this matter is charles poliquin i suggest reading everything you can by this guy, i did and now i understand how to target each group of muscle fibre for maximum growth
