if i slap in the face it never leaves a mark it is not really a slap but to them it is a slap and they get the point.

one time and only 1 time I slapped on the bare ass and it left a mark...that did freak me out and wont happen again.

in my opinion I dont really spank my kids even though I do. (hard to explain)

nope, not mine. i mean, not when they were little either. my kids have never hit me, and never would.
they wouldn't have cursed (they do now, but 2 are teens and they don't curse at ME), or thrown anything, ever.

I didn't raise one of my kids from an infant, so when he moved in with me- i had to undo some bad parenting.

yeah my kid is too old to be spanked on th rear. i never really got into that much. that kind of thing was always more for effect than anything else/

one effective technique is to take a metal-edged ruler and smash your kid square on the elbow, right where the bone is. a few of those and your kid will no longer complain when you tie him up in the basement for the night.

it takes a lot of love to raise a kid right, i bet.

my kids like to bite scratch kick and punch...but I taught them that in their martial arts classes.

My kids aren't that bad. I was never that bad. I swore at my Dad once and I found out how hard he hits.
