A good way to be? I have trust issues with women, simply because I feel that alot more women nowadays don't seem to have the same values they did 20 or 30 yrs ago. Sorry, I'm not the greatest at explaining my thoughts sometimes.

:( Ok, it just seems like every women that I've known, wheather it be my gf or a friends gf or even wives of others. They all seem to be premiscuous. I know all women are not that way, but I have not come across too many that are differant.

everyone has insecurities, depends to what extent.
very few people are 100% content with themselves.

i've gotten much better, after i balanced my life and started making constant strides to improve myself.

when i stop doing things to better myself is when i start feeling really insecuer (or when i take steps back)

is not being content with yourself equal to being insecure?
if someone knows their weaknesses and isn't content with them, i don't see that as a sign of insecurity- is it?

hrmm....good question.

insecurities are a weird thing, because people are not always insecure about their weaknesses. alot of the times its just a distorted perception (i.e. very attractive women being insecure about their looks)

insecurities usually cause people to address them(if they can be. obviously there are things that can not be changed).

it's usually about how much a particular weakness affects you and how self concious you are of it.

that's pretty much what I think.
It seems ok to know your weakness, but if it effects your self esteem or social interraction- that seems more like an insecurity.

I was at a restaurant the other day and I ordered. The waitress said, "oh! that's really good... but i'm a fat girl, i think all food is good."
I was laughing. She seemed very sure of herself- not insecure at all. not crying "am i fat?" "did you call me fat?" "I'm not really fat".
