lumberg - you may want 'dumb down" your poll choices so that others on C&C can understand. we're talking a 6th grade level here

ouch...

May I ask you to qualify a bit more what you mean by "expert"... is it the fact that you have earned money with it?

agricultural and lawn & Garden chemicals, 20+ years of experience and counting.

My bail bond business has alot of paperwork, I suck at that part, so I wouldn't say I was an expert at that, otherwise I could have names, addresses, etc. at a key stroke..

I've been working as a medical transcriptionist for over five years. I'm one of the best subcontractors in the branches I work in primarily (neurology and neurosurgery), and have no certification.

Talking to a neurosurgical resident when my mother was in the hospital with a ruptured cerebral aneurysm was mildly amusing. When he asked me what field of medicine I worked in and I responded that I was a medical transcriptionist he was actually shocked.

yea i got a few... i consider myself a jack of all trades and master at none....

It's actually better to be "Master of a few, Well versed in many"

Those are the people who get called "boss" or "ceo" eventually. :)

what-EVV-er, as the kids would say...

Unfortunately, its the internet - I think many here are underestimated as to what their achievements are. An appropriate question would be number of peer-reviewed publications? without credentials is an odd way to describe an expert, when you ask for documentation.
