In that case, I am far from one.

I like it in itervals

I hate being smothered all the time, there are many times I like to be alone and many times I want to look/act aloof. If a GF is hanging all over me during those times it gets me very annoyed.

When I am seeing someone romantically I am.

I like to give them flowers and stuff, not everyday but often.
I like to just go do things with them like take a walk by the river.
My favorite thing was to just sit there and lean up against her on the couch, we never would say anything just sit there together watching a movie or something.

There is some other stuff but it is personal and a little silly.

I love getting VMs just saying "I heard a song on the radio that made me think of you and my toes tingled."

I love being wisked off at 1130PM on a weeknight to stare at the moon from the top of a logging road.

I love wearing his shirt to bed after he's worn it all day (as long it's not nasty dirty )

I love using the excuse 'you have an eyelash' just so I can touch his face.

I love thinking about his smile, his smell, his touch, his voice when he says my name, the way his hair feels as I run my hand over his head, hearing his heartbeat as I lay my head on his chest and how he pushes my hair out of my face just to see my eyes.

How's that SoKlu? Better? :) Yeah, I'm a romantic... sometimes hopeless.

him griping because i miscount on "some things"
he still holds it over my head because i burnt chicken once and dont remember that i made home made chicken noodle soup for him

I should explain... I didn't read into the post very much. My bad cause not having done so I shouldn't have even replied... What I mean to say is don't wear your heart on your sleeve. People who do usually just get hurt again and again. And from what it looks like that's a hard cycle to break too... I treat a woman like she deserves to be treated, and if she doesn't deserved the absolute best I'm not sticking around... I'm a hopeless romantic in the sence of being in absolute love no question... But hopeless as in falling in love easily and/or too often is foolish...or SoKlules ;) . Respect yourself find the right one and then consider love... True love is a rare thing and only that can truely be called romance. :rose:

I'm afraid that I will fall in love with someone too easily. As long as she's a good Christian girl, and if she's hot, and shows any interest in me whatsoever, I think I will be suckered in.

Not true buttercup, Im not green, except when I get mad like the incredible hulk you know, never mind.
Actually Im a hopeless romantic for real just I havent even thought about dating in well over a year. I guess Im just so romantic Im waiting for that special someone to be brought to me by some act of fate, Im through with the dating scene and Im so passed the stage of cheap physical thrills with people I hardly know. Id much rather have an embrace and dissolve away with someone I care about.
And Im not much of a drinker atall any mo, although if I was to imbibe it'd be definitely be vodka and lime. haha that rhymes. Oh wait, that rhymes too haha hee hee to the funny farm, there coming to take me away haha hee hee. I think Im losing it!

I am a hopeless romantic all the way, I was never "taught" how to do it I just know.


But I will say this I get more pleasure seeing the look or feeling her emotion when i do something thoughfull than anything in this world.

Giving is DEFINATTLY better than receiving....
 
Well i for one have never been in love and i have always wondered what it feels like
it would be nice to have that butterfly feeling u have in your stomach,
But i do believe first and foremost, you must be able to love youself, happiness first comes from within, only that way can you truely love another
 
I'm going to say yes and no. I love to do special little things for my honey and appreciate the hell out of him doing the same for me. I only say no because I think some "hopeless romantics" view love in a fairy tale way and expect everything to always be easy and perfect. That's not life.

My favorite little thing to do to say "I love you" is to throw his jeans in the dryer before he gets up on cold days so they're really warm.

I am definately a hopeless romantic. My ex-wife wasn't but she liked being romanced, so it was always up to me to do the romantic things. Hopefully my next woman will also want to spoil me a little too.
 
Since Valentine's day is coming up here is a hint to all the clueless guys. If you get her flowers...ALWAYS have them delivered to her work. Never underestimate a woman's desire to rub it in the face of her co-workers and it does mean a lot more to them.
