Are steroids an addiction or cheating ??

How many of you have become addicted to steroids to a point where your well being would be at risk ? Was that to reach a level of body perfection without sweating as much as natural BB's do ?... I am curious to read your feedback on this, thank you :)

This is going to turn into another, "do natural guys work harder than steroid users?" argument.

They are addictive as....... never seen stealing a corner store to get a shot of test or seen a cold turkey BB, cheating you will work you ass twice as any guy in the gym, never got bigger by just using gear and looking in the mirror

All I'm sayin to the natural bodybuilders is don't be hating on or cutting short us bodybuilders who use steroids because we are not hating on or cutting short the natural bodybuilders. It's all a matter of choice. It's our choice to use steroids, just like it's the natural bodybuilders choice to stay natural. That's just my opinion about the whole deal.

I jthink that if you are pushing yourself to the maximum every workout, it doesn't matter if your natural or "chemically enhanced," you are still giving it your all.

I work harder than any one in my gym. Natural and on gear, I'm still working out harder than any of those guys in there that do their half assed squats and spend all their time talking.

Steroids themselves aren't an addiction, nor do I think they're "cheating" in most high-level sports, not anymore. No one these days plays without some form of enhancement, legal or otherwise. To be sucessful at the top echelon of almost any sport, you do what it takes to keep up. As far as addiction... they aren't physically addictive in and of themselves. However, people can certainly become psychologically addicted to the pumps, the size gains, the strength, how they look, etc. That's why some guys start off with a 10 week cycle and end up staying on for 2 years. Do I think they're addictive? No. Do I think they can still be abused? Hell yes.
