AS have been around since the 20's. It's a fascinating science with a proven track record...I.E. They work. Uncle Sugar in his infinite wisdom has decided to keep them a strictly controlled item (unlike cigarettes which everbody knows "will" kill you)...anyway.
That leaves a lot of us with one option to help support our goal of building muscle mass...Supplements.
Uncle Sugar has no problem with supplements, however nobody knows anything about them. They are not FDA regulated so do they work?? do they not work?? are there side effects?? etc.
It's such a joke. AS do work and can be safely regulated by a physician, yet they remain illegal. Then you have supplements which aren't regulated, no one really knows anything about them and they can be used and abused..maybe all for nothing so businesses can get rich off the hype of relating these damn BS substances to AS.
Are there supplements that really help to support the building of muscle mass and aid in recovery?? Or are we all just marketing targets??
Here is a list of the supplements I currently take in an effort to keep my body from eating itself and help support the building of muscle mass.
1. Celltech - Two scoops once a day post workout.
2. EAS Myoplex and Designer weigh protein shakes in addition to my meals throughout the day and before bedtime.
3. Universal Animal vitamin and mineral pack once a day.
Am I wasting my money and time choking this crap down??
TIA
