Are men naturally monogomous???

needleboy

New member
Been doing some thinking on the subject, just want to see what others think!!

I think women definately are, they usually need a big reason to cheat. (IMO)

Men???????

Actually, studies done over 15 years ago showed that over 40 percent of married women had cheated by the age of 40. Would hate to see what the figures today indicated.

Women are just as likely to cheat as men, especially in today's "feel good" society. It's just that women cheating is not talked about as much because it stigmatizes the betrayed man. Opposite effect if a man cheats.

depends on if you believe in evolution. And if so what lineage did we come from. Apes.....males are not monogomous....their job is to reproduce with as many females as possible.

Big Buck....just a question.....do you want your son to groww up to be a playa?

He will be what he wants...I will teach him about being a man, and let him make his own decisions. In all honesty, if I found a women that I TRULY loved, that respected me and treated me the way I should be treated, then I would NOT cheat on her. But until that day.....

good...just wanted to make sure you knew your weaknesses...playa;)

Society has created monogomy. I for one choose to be monogomous, i have no problem with it. if i did as nature intends, i would not be though.

Men have a biological instinct to spread their genetics. Monogamy is torturous to a man. After you get caught cheating just tell your wife "I'm sorry honey but I was just unable to supress my biological instincts to disperse my genetic code". She'll understand completely if you use the scientific approach.

God a woman who gets it!! I think I may love you, I'm not sure yet, but who knows!!!

I think you may have me confused with someone else. Because I haven't gotten it in a long time needleman;)

But if you were referring to my ape reference, you will also notice the reference to evolution. Man evolved from this primitive form, hence physical, and pyschological evolution is possible. We no longer are a species with an emphasis on survial through reproduction.

You're a good man buck.

actually they do, and they have a form of prostitution as well, where a female will have sex with a male to get xtra food!!!

I did not say a man could not be monogomous, I just think it's a man's instinct to not be!!

Monogamy is something most men struggle with on a daily basis.
It's especially difficult the way all you women strut around wearing sexy clothes and flirting as best you can...
Damn you!!! :bawling:

Frankly, I don't know anybody of any gender or sexual orientation who finds monogamy easy. I've tried it with both genders -- in a marriage and in a relationship with a man -- and it worked for a few years and then turned into something about as appealing as trying to breathe inside a plastic bag. My present relationship -- 11 years old -- has been open for 7 years and works fine.

Weirdly, i find that among my clients, more than half would rather cheat or get divorced than experiment openly with polyamory. What the hell is that all about?

Does this work with husbands too? :D

(Modified as appropriate for gender)

If so, do you have a transcript or - even better - voice-recording - of the conversation when you tried this with your wife...

I'd just like to hear it...to make sure I do it right... ;)

It's simple:

You love your girlfriend or boyfriend? Do they love you? Do you want to keep them? Then you don't fucking cheat on them, it's pretty simple.

Yeah, men have the 'variety instinct' but we also have many other instincts we ignore, (for the most part)...it's a simple matter of self control, and the people on Elitefitness ought to have excellent self control.

Now, if your significant other treats you like shit, if it's not serious etc..then that's a different story...

...and research has shown that 100% of people who are involved with someone else as well as their SO are certain that their SO is treating them badly or that it's not serious anyway....

...research has also shown that almost all of SOs are certain they are not  and all SOs are sure that it is, besides...:bawling:
