Appetite Control.. I need help

Hey, While i'm cutting i seriously can't control my hunger cravings.. I don't cheat or anything, but the craving and hunger take away from my mental focus.. and it affects my workouts and everyday life, and i get headaches all the time. I know everyone has probably had this feeling a time or two.

What did you guys do? I'm really thinking about getting an appetite suppressant. Are there any legal ones that can help me out?

ephedrine HCL + caffeine... absolutely AMAZING appetite control... oh yeah, it acts as a thermo and help burn a few extra cals too.

i literally have to force myself to eat (something I didn't have to do before...lol)

and cheap....
 
What's your diet like?
Are you eating enough or is this your 1st week of dieting?

The easiest thing to do is to drink a shitload of really cold water - I mean guzzle it down until you can't swallow anymore. You're belly will be so full eating will not be on your mind.

One could also add more veggies and or healthy fats..fiber etc..in order to increase satiablity..
 
thanks everyone! i've always drank a lot of water. but my new job sucks @$$ and they get pissed when i get up every 30 mins for a jug of water. idk what their problem is. anyways, i'm definitely gonna just start eating a crapload of salad. :)

5'6" 165lbs. 16.1%bf (hyrdrostatic) Currently running test cyp @400mgs EW for 8 weeks, and DBol 40mgs ED weeks 1-4. I'm cutting the fat while adding just a few lbs of LBM.

Believe me, I'm lucky to get my snacks in @ work. I work residential care overnights. I would be eating 6-7 meals if i at all could, so i balanced it out for 4 meals w/ a couple snacks. :chomp: :chomp:

MEAL ONE

1cup Oats
Protein Shake

MEAL TWO

4oz. Chicken
1/2cup Rice
1cup Salad
1tbsp Olive Oil
Protein Shake

SNACK

Protein Shake or Bar

MEAL THREE (After Workout Meal)

6oz. Steak
1/2cup Rice
2 x Protein Shake

SNACK

Protein Shake or Bar

MEAL FOUR

4oz. Chicken or Steak
Protein Shake

Grand Total = 2200 Cals ==> Carb/Prot./Fat Ratio of 28/40/32

Wow. Your diets exactaly like mine. I get TERRIBLE cravings and cant control them and end up cheating a lot. I dont know what to do, I want to lose weight so bad, but cant stop cheating.
 
I use caffeine pills, 200mg pills and I usually take 2 at a time, I play squash so what I do is take the 2 pills about 25mins before I play and if I play for about an hour I won't feel hungry for a good 4-5 hours. the onlt thing is sometimes I play at about 8:00pm and then I can't get to sleep until about 2:30am.
 
Try this my friend, go out on the internet or grab a few mags, cut out some pics of bodys you want to have, even go as far as puting your face on them. Carry one around, and put one on the fridge. How bad do you want it, you can do it, just have will power, with all things time is key, it took you time to put the weight on, and time to get it off but in the end if you buckle down, you will be happy, no cake, pie, candy, sweets etc will make you feel better than looking your best, feeling confident, and knowing you have accomplished something.

yeah. thats a good idea! thats how i got motivation to change my body in the first place. i've still got my original mag. pics by my rack. they've been there for just about 2 years now

Well I just got uber strict with my diet too and I find that drinking ALOT of water is the best thing to curve hunger cravings like others have said. I aim for about 20oz of water between meals. 6 meals a day=20x6-120oz or a gallon of water a day. Works well.
 
Cut out the protein bars and your cravings will decrease. The bars these days are nothing more than glorified snickers.

Also the ephedrine HCL @ 100 mg + 200 MG of Caffien 3x a day for no more than 6 weeks should get you through.
 
When Im getting ready to take photo's or have a huge beach trip, I will add citrucel fiber to all of my shakes, or take the pills with meals, fiber fills you up very well, and You will poop better too.

Citricel can be bought at any grocery store or drugstore. It is in the laxative/gastrointestinal section (i.e., laxatives, Immodium, Milk of Magnesia, antacid, Gas-Ex, etc).
 
Do you eat alot of simple carbs? You may be messing with your blood sugar too much...what is your diet like?
 
You can get tubs of fiber laxatives (psyllium husks ?sp?) at Wal-Mart for CHEAP. They have orange flavored & sugar-free orange flavored.
 
I use sugar free Jello or coffee or green tea to suppress my appetite. If it gets really bad then i have 4 cooked eggwhites and add some carb free maple syrop on them. Or I drink lots of water - (the problem with that is you have to pee a lot :()

I also use multi- vitamins and chromium which seem to help my cravings!

I am not sure if my methos is right!! Any comments are helpful.
