Anything better than Clomid?

Hey Guys
I'm 45 and finished my first cycle of sust. two months ago.
I used Clomid two weeks post cycle.
I want to do a second cycle, I had good results.
The worst part was after the cycle.
Depression, and no sex!!!!!. I could not get the machinery up for almost 2 weeks.
Is this normal? I tried to talk to my Dr. but he didn't want to hear anything about it.
Now at two months my libido is still not what it was before my cycle.
Is there anything eltse I can use?

You could try arimidex.

But I would be more interested in what your dosing pattern was for the clomid.

Most seem to recommend 300mg on day 1, then 100mg for days 2-7, then 50mg for the next 7 days.

Or, to take it 100mg for 2 weeks, then 50mg for the 3rd week.

Two wks after last shot, I took 100mg/day for 1wk
then 50mg/day for 1wk

I would try another 2 weeks of clomid (argh) if you can handle it at 100mg/day. That's only 28 of them babies, so it should not cost too much $.

Luckily (knock on wood), I have yet to have this problem. But hopefully the only problem was that you did not take enough clomid for a long enough time.

Just curious, how much sustanon were you taking per week?

At 45 years of age, have you recently had a "full-works" test done by a doc? The reason I ask is because as we all age our natural T levels decline, so if your T levels were low to begin with then the sustanon simply dropped them even lower post cycle, making it difficult for an already low T level to catch back up.

Next time, maybe get a work up so you know what your starting with. HCG would probably be a good idea next cycle. Tribulus Terrestis is supposed to help as well. Tribulus is OTC so pick up as much as you want.

I did 2 amps of Durateston for 7 wks the 1 amp for 1 wk
my test count before the cycle was average...a little on the low side, but not below average.
I am going next wk for blood work, interested to see what it may be at now.

I've done hcg... it came in two separate vials that had to be mixed..water base.. but I think the advise on larger dose is better to go with.. I maybe wrong but dollar for dollar clomid is better.. I have a formula called gainskeeper I got out of the archives and it uses both in it ??? I've never tried it b/c it involves allot of $$$$ due to it seems to use every damn anti-estrogen there is but it says it will guarantee you to retain most if not all of your gains ????

See a new doctor,arimidex, hcg and clomid, tribulus, maca and you could even give dhea a try.

HCG is injected, I forget the dosage, but I believe 10,000ius is the amount in the vial. I think I used 3000ius once and then 2000 three times and 1000 once, everyother day. I could be wrong, I haven't bothered with it in a long time.

You could take anavar or primo, two items which will not effect your own test production, until your own gets back on track.

There aren't any esters I'm aware of that last 2 months. If you want your doc to give you hormone replacement therapy, just take a birth control pill 12 hours or so before they draw bloodwork. It should drop your test levels quite a bit.

Hey bro,Txlonghorn hit it on the head.Your dosage was too low.Also steer clear of the HCG.Worthless shit in my opinion.Clomid has a direct effect on nat test production and HCg mimicks the LH.I am not into injecting anything extracted from piss!Up the clomid dosage next time.

Hey vince up the clomid for another 2 weeks .After that supplement with ZMA (Zinc). If you can get some try gonakor (hcg).What works for someone might not work for another.

You guys may have more direct experience, but I would never recommend ZMA or Tribulus (Tribex) as a companion to clomid, because I think all that stuff is an expensive crock of shit. Just be careful when it comes to taking care of the family jewels.

Hey vince, if you are concerned about the libido, you can always take low doses of proviron. In fact, that is what is prescribed for.
