Anyone work in the entertainment industry??

I'm studying marketing right now in school along with Fashion courses. I would like to work in the entertainment field, like either with TV, radio, magazines in the marketing department or PR. Is it a tough field to get into? Anyone have any luck?

it is extremely tough and competitve. There's a lot of luck, some skill, and also it's all about who you know. PR is very tough. Marketing not as much so. But it's still pretty hard. You might be better off doing PR work for a non entertainment industry and switch to entertainment once you've established yourself and built your reputation.
