I wonder who wrote his apology for him. I also wonder if he is truly sorry or just sorry he got caught. I couldn't really tell if he was sincere or not when speaking or just good acting. Anyway, hopefully he and his family will just be left alone now. I did like what he said about his wife though. It was good to clear her name like that.

Yes but you see golf is an upper class gentlemans game. Held to a higher standard than those knuckledraggers who are fans of football, baseball, basketball, etc. So when someone of tigers prominence fucks up like that in the golf community, theres hell to pay.

It was a nice first step to apologize to all of us fans of golf and his corporate sponsors. Parts seemed sincere but in other parts it seemed like it was something his publicist made him put in. It's good that he is starting to heal his sex addiction. As a Phil fan, I can't wait till he comes back and I root against him like the monster heel he has been to me for years.

i saw bits and pieces on mike&mike. . .i think the answer to your question is between the lines. . .he was apologizing to his sponsors. . .he could give two shits what you or i or anyone else really thinks about him (i'm speculating obviously. . .maybe he does actually care a little) except to the extent that we buy stuff that he endorses.
