i was thinking of getting one and the dimensions looked great but just didnt know bout how sturdy/strong it is

hey man I have that exact one

let me tell you...it takes a BEATING.

I've done heavy pin pulls, suspended gms, box squats with bands...everything on it. I'll usually have my friend lift up the rack and i'll go under it with the bands. Then he puts it down and we throw a plate or two on the legs. Good rack for a good price...definately get it

Jason is making me one that is 8' tall and 4' deep...with LOTS of holes too!!!!

It will be VERY similar to a monolift but where one person can use it.

Well...I can buy one on the net that will fit 'most' of what I want in a power rack or I can have one built to fit for about the same price or maybe less.

I have taken several pics from another site or two and sent them to him and explained to him what I want. I'd really like one similar to www.1500lb.com and their power rack/monolift...

well.....my dad just came in and told me to order what we needed and what rack i was looking at. so i ordered the one from http://www.newyorkbarbells.com/92551.html and ordered a f.i.d bench w/preacher attachment from bigfitness.com for 199.99. and he just got 300lbs weight set. after next week i will have another 300lb set and enough concrete to make 4-5 sets of 6atlas stones hopefully.

Well, I've seen your rack. I figured you didn't have good taste in racks, so I didn't ask your opinion. Perhaps you should shell out the dough for a bigger rack. That always seems to work for my other friends.

I have an older model from New York Barbell and it is sturdy. Had it for 6+ years. It's not as pretty as it used to be, but it's just as strong. Just doesn't have the one inch hole spacings like I would like. Still for the money that NYB sells them they are hard to beat.
