Anyone use Yahoo Auctions?

I was just playing around there, and it appears to be pretty much all scammers. I bid on a Mac Mini because it was going fairly cheap, and I won it. I haven't sent a payment, because the person I won it from has cancelled my paypay invoice twice now. The person has now relisted the mac, along with all of the other items she had for sale that have all sold. One problem I see with Yahoo auctions, is that there is no easy way to report this, or not that I have found. Many of the computer and electronics auctions are also money order/personal check only, no paypal or any other way you could get your money back. I was wondering if anyone on here has tried Yahoo out, and if it went smoothly?

no yet, but you've sold me on the idea

had a quick look and just about everyone was offering paypal. i'm not a huge of paypal but i suggest any auction stating money order or personal check only as their method of payment is suspect. not offering a means of paying over the internet means they're not organised to start off with

i listed the same item, a training dvd, on ebay, yahoo, and overstock during the SAME 1 week period about 3 months ago. the yahoo and overstock auctions did not get 1 bid for 9.99. the ebay auction ended a little over $40

i'm sticking with ebay for now

ya, i'm all for trying these other auction sites. but sooooo many more people use ebay. it is by far the best for a seller.

you can find good deals at yahoo and overstock if your buying though. simply because there are less bidders. example, Devs auction.

I'm thinkin of switching to Yahoo. eBay really is starting to suck vd dick. I put an item up that didn't have any competition and was better than any remotely similar listings, and only got about a quarter of its retail value. And the listing was perfect, in the right categories, with clear pictures and professional description.

I think this has to do with there being so many "power sellers" on there now. My 100% feedback doesn't seem to mean shit being that it's only for 130+ transactions.

Same experience as Devastation.
Ebay has more buyer traffic, and it looks like it will stay that way, for a long time.
