anyone use OPTIMUN WHEY?

i bought some of this today 5lb buck for 35$ what you guys think? it was either this is EAS SIMPY WHEY

i use it and i like it better than eas...it mixes well and i think it has more protien per serving. Chocolate is good. Haven't had other flavors.

what kind did you get? i have vanilla and i can't stand it w/ water. i'm getting chocolate next time.

1st time i bought it i had the icecream vanilla was okay today i bought STRAWBERRY havent opened it yet ,gotta finish the protein i have now which aint much

yes i use it all the time

Vanilla- good with milk, crap with water
Strawberry- same as vanilla
Chocolate mint- very good in milk, in water not bad
but after awhile you really get sick of mint
Pina colada-never tried
chocolate- pretty good in milk, in water not that bad
and it's not really sickening after awhile

so chocolate wins, and chocolate mint is good
for a change...the rest are good but if you don't
mix it with milk and mix it with water
it will suck big time

i get mine for around 35 dollars
at this store down the street from me
i still think that nature's best is the best tasting

Optimum whey i think is one of the better protein sellers out there. I too get mine from DPS it's very cheap there. And i think the protein is 80%, do some math you'll see a lot of protein powders are not that much, a lot of them are in high or low 70's

I use the Optimum 100% Natural Chocolate protein powder, and the Optimum Power Mass 1000 gainer. I've tried Champion and ProLab NLarge 2, and didn't care for either.

The PowerMass costs me $15 per 4.3lb, and the protein costs me $25 for 5lb.

i've been using optimum for about a year now.. which equates to about 26 of those 5 lb buckets.. hahaha.. should have recycled those jugs i think, hehehe..

I used to always use chocolate, but it tasted like shit without some sweetener, no matter what u put it in.. now I use vanilla ice cream, and it taste pretty damn good in 1% milk.. don't use water though.. you'll PUKE for sure ( sorry if this came too late, lol)...

I don't mind any of the three with water. It mixes well and is probably one of the cheapest I've found.

The vanilla tastes great in pancake mix too

I always hook that shit up in my pancake mix...Off the hook..I use the choc and vanilla, The vanilla is real nasty mixed in water. But then again most proteins are....Mix the shit up, plug your nose slam it till it's gone that way you only taste it once....

OPTIMUM!!! ALL THE WAY BABY!!! That's the only shit I've ever used, and I've seen great results all the while. Had Vanilla early, couldn't stand it in water *gag city*. Switched to chocolate, and as My End Over Mad her said... it doesn't really get all that sickening, just take a deep breathe, chug, and you only taste it once. Can't beat the price either... around $65-70 delivered... courtesy of bodybuilding.com! Oops, am I allowed to advertise another site on here??? Heh =P

I've tried a bunch and Optimum isnt as bad as some of the other shit out there. My fav by far is IsoPure though. Their lo-carb version tastes great too.

Like the Isopure but they are kinda expensive. I also like sci-fit ice cream chocolate flavor. kinda expensive also. I need a good source of protein and good taste. It is hard to choke down stuff that doesn't taste good.

you've got to be kidding about buying optimum whey strawberry..... that has got to be the most disgusting, grossest shake i have ever encountered in my life... my dog won't even go near it... i bought a 10 lb bag of it and could only finish like 4 lbs cause it was soooo gross...
it tasted like pepto bismal and strawberry mouthwash mixed together...
God it was gross...

Go through two 5 pound jugs every month....greatest protein shake on the market for the price. Tried every flavor but like mint chocolate and strawberry the best (w/milk) highly reccomend you stay away from pina colada....you will get sick!

By the way....where are you guys finding this stuff for $15-$25....I get 20% off all the time but pay closer to $30...let me know if there is a website out there I can order it off of.
