Anyone use glutamine??

All I can say, is that I used to take it right before bed time. Who knows if it really did anything, but i was ripped!

for sure for sure, glutamine is a great supplement, and I can tell big time, especially during running and football season. I have never done AS so I know just about everything out there for non- AS supps. and this is a great thing to use for lifting also if thats your stylte. Continual use will promote best effects of recoevery.

I've given Glutamine a serious try a number of times. Never did a fucking thing for me that i noticed. I don't think it's a bullshit suplement, but I do think it's over-hyped.

Bro, i used L-glutamine 2-3 times a day..................................

It doesnt have any taste (good or bad) so mixing it with cranberry juice or a protein shake wasnt bad. I know i got very good recovery times as usually after a good workout i would be sore for like 3-4 days for that muscle group. After i started using L-glutamine 10gms 2-3 times daily, i started noticing difference.

At first i thought it might be placebo effect, so i trained even harder than usual to get sore like always but the day after i was much better off.

All in all i think its a good supplement. Worth the money

Good post. I agree. I am a big believer in glutamine use, but if you are taking with many other supplements, it is hard to point to glutamine as the key.

I can say I usually take it with my post-workout shake and meal (about 3,000 mg), and I have noticed at my age, it helps my recovery off cycle and makes my next workout more enjoyable and easier. Placebo, maybe? But something is working mentally or physically when I take it. Pretty inexpensive, so I say it's worth it.

I did some research on this years ago. Some of it is in the archives of this board.

It mostly gets broken apart during digestion, so get the glutamine peptides instead - they don't break down as fast or easily. G-Plenish is one brand of peptides.

glutamines ability to aid in recovery is not its only benefit,it also helps with digestive health as well as overall immune system help.
i believe in glutamine, not only does it help my recovery, but i used to be more succeptable to illness which has been lessened by supplementing glutamine.
i take 10g daily on non-training days,and 15 on training days.

I know this has been asked before, but who here uses it... and believes it works? Now that Im training natural, I want to increase my supplement intake.

I've taken many a supplement but been suprised by glutamine. I took 10g half hour before workout, and 10g half hour after. By the second workout I got pumps like I'd just started training again!
