Anyone use glutamine??

great thread!!! I was wondering the same thing. Im thinking about starting glutamine too. yall think Ill notice a dif over the glutamine i get in my protein shake??? I mean if i take it straight supplement will i notice it more???
 
I put 5g in my post-workout shake. I can't say if it helps for sure but it seems like a good insurance policy.

I also had 5g in orange juice this morning to help with the hangover. It seemed to work wonders for getting rid of my headache.

I take at least 10g of glutamine throughout the day be before working out , afterworking out in my gatorade, while I'm working out in gatorade, in water, in protien shakes, whatever it be, just as long as I get it in. I helps in the aid of recovery so you can be ready to go sooner than later.
 
Glutamine is the most essential amino in the body, why not suppplement it?? I use it 2x daily, 10 grams w/Kool Aid 1hr prior to workout, another 10 grams afterwards...works out just fine for me..
 
yup , immune system effects, and aid to recovery bump on the peptide version it is the ONLY way to go thermotek makes g-tek and i use that brand

i use 10g glutamine total within a day, i have gone into cutting mode for 2 months now and have gone from 220 to 205 still trying to get to 200 (damn its tough lol) and take 5 g as i wake up before i go out and do my empty stomach cardio and my last serving is taken either postworkout or pre-bed and for me i think it has helped my recovery and also spared some muscle while cutting (notice i said only some)...i feel that its worth it and see no reason not to use it.....
