Anyone tried Herbal Medicines?

Hello,

Recently, I was approached by one of my friends introducing me to a unique Herbal product. He was already using it since some time and decided to introduce me to it.

I went through the products he gave me and I did notice that they don’t have any fake claims or anything. You have to take their products for a specific period of time for any sign of results. I already got a few of their products – its nothing different from my regular schedule … I replaced my coffee, soap, toothpaste and shampoo with theirs and am looking for a difference in health. Although it is a bit early to say, but I had a few prickly heat kind of boils on my back … and after using the soap for about 2 weeks, I do feel that they have ‘softened’ down and a few of them have already come out.

The main constituent of their products is Reishi mushroom

Reishi mushroom or "Ling Zhi" mushroom is also known as Ganoderma lucidum. It is the King of mushrooms and has been used by herbal practitioners in China and Japan for thousands of years. This mushroom is mentioned in the first Chinese herbal, dating back to 2800 BC and is classified as a superior herb.

Reishi contains two major groups of organic compounds:

• ganodermic acids, classified as triterpenoids. Triterpenes increase oxygen consumption, tone the liver, and reduce stress. It is responsible for the bitter taste in Ganoderma.
• polysaccharides, which are long chains of naturally-occurring sugar molecules, which assist in strengthening the natural healing ability and health of the body.

For more information you can go here: http://www.dxnusa.com/product/ag.htm

However, strange as it may seem, you need to give the name / ref. number of the person who informed you about the product in order to became a member you cannot join without it.
Also if you individually buy the products you have to buy them on the marked price, but if I am not mistaken … providing the information of the person who informed you about DXN would entitle you to a discount of about 25%. The Sponsor ID that you have to mention while registering is 1410 19392

To become a member, I had to purchase a kit containing a few of their products worth around 50$. I also got a diary and some brochures of their products. Once I became a member, I too could avail of the discount on purchase.

As the company is relatively new, it doesn’t have branches everywhere in the world. From the brochure I have, the centers mentioned are at:

• International site is dxn2u.com
• USA (dxnusa.com)
• New Zealand
• Australia (dxnaus.co.au)
• Canada
• India (dxnindia.com)
• Bangladesh
• Hong Kong (dxn.com.hk)
• Indonesia
• Laos
• Cyprus
• Malaysia (dxnmalaysia.com)
• Singapore
• Switzerland
• Taiwan
• Philippines (dxnphil.com)
• Mauritius
• UAE
• Nepal
• Oman
• Thailand

There are quite a few success stories on their site, one of them shows pictures of a person who lost 13 kgs in just 21 days! (http://www.dxn2u.com/?mn=x-success&sub=testimonial_wms) .Another shows how their product helped decrease the blood level of a pregnant lady thus helping her deliver a healthy child (http://dxn2u.com/?mn=x-success&sub=testimonial_marzia)

If you reside in any of the above countries and are interested in buying the products with the discount, please PM or reply to this thread and if I have the time … I will try to get back as soon as possible with the location of the center in the country and also the ref. number.
I would recommend you go through their products page (http://www.dxnusa.com/product/pl.htm) and get abreast of what they offer. They have really cheap shipping charges if you order online to USA - 3$

Are any of you’ll already using this? If yes, please post your views … I would love to hear if it has benefited you or not.

Hi,

Its strange why do you consider this SPAM. I just posted it to get views of some people who have actually tried it and thus get some views that would help other people also.

If you find this SPAM, I don't know what to say ... maybe its up to the MODS to decide.

most herbals are fantastic drugs...if you consider extraction of money from idiots a good therapeutic outcome

Hehe. But surely, it could be benefitting the body someway or the other? We didn't have protein shakes and asprin in the stone ages... did we ? ;)

if they want to give credit to one person...try your local part for the same stuff. they dont pay commision to the same "one person" so should cost less

protein and aspirin both have estabilished, quantifiable mechanisms of action

blah blah root or herb is usually as effective as english tea...at a hundred times the cost

also, the 'cant hurt, might help' slogan is fallicious- in reality, might hurt, cant help is more accurate

Hmm, the basic response is that Herbal medicines isn't any good for the body. Despite this the industry is still huge with lots of advertising going on.

Personally, I used to take some Herbal (Ayurvedic) concentration tablets previously and I used to feel quite a alert after taking them .... really helped when I had stay awake late to complete work.

I guess its just some of the companies that are not effective and thus the overall perception of herbal medicine is affected.

because people want to believe there is a pill they can't that will make them feel better/look better/almost any other desire, the truth is that it's just needful people being cajoled into false hope by predatory business practices.

I agree. At times even I'm lured into those 'Fantastic Abs in 2 months' products.

Yet, I am a bit sceptical .... one part of me says that it might work, other says there's no shortcut to sucess. My friend had also told me that the Tootpaste of the ganoderma product also helped soothe 3rd degree burns , could this be true?

a few reasons: "drugs" have a bad name. "herbs" are "natural". sell a herb as a herb, and everyone will take the whole bottle, because its "blah blah root". take that same herb, extract a chemical out of it, and call it 3,7 dihydroacetonimate and people say "fuuuuuuck man that sounds dangerous!!!!" its a chemical!!

also, sometimes people get sick with something that takes 5 days to go away. on day 2, they start taking some herbal shit, and then 4 days later, omg, theyre better. IT MUST HAVE BEEN THE HERB!!!!! OMGGGGGG!!!

then you have the placebo crowd . they take the herb, and all of 15 seconds later, say "i feel great!!!" God i hate those people. theyre the sort that come in with an incurable headache, even when theyre using morphine to get rid of the damn thing. i just want to get them and knee them in the balls 20 times saying "hows the headache now? bet it doesnt hurt, huh?" ooooo they piss me off

remember, to make a drug, you need about 500 million, and tests on thousands of people, taht you then have to show to the approval authorities, who go over the info with a fine tooth comb.

to make a herbal medicine, all you need is a capsule filling machine.

as a matter of fact, to be a herbalist, all you need to do is a bit of cardboard, some paint, and the ability to write "herbalist" on that bloody thing

damn herbalists. get the hell out of here with your fake placebo shit before i smack you one in the chops

Right you do all that for a safe drug and you still have them yanked off the market because of deadly sides and class action lawsuit after class action lawsuit get filed and people die. Arthritis medications are the latest to be yanked off the market. They say FDA approved this and that, i don't know what to believe anymore.

I must also point out that my mom suffred from severe depression and anxiety attacks so bad she ended up in the hospital, she met with a doctor who put her on homeopathic treatments and within 4 months all her symptoms were gone and the depression and anxiety dissapeared and have been gone since. So whatever the mechanism of action, there's still alot we don't understand about medicine and some seemingly useless natural meds may actually have many benefits in where they may work with your body over time to heal with no sides. I don't think anyone can argue that Cannabis is a useless herb with no medicinal value.

sometimes it takes more than the 8 year development period to assess a drug properly

also, herbals are not assessed for efficacy or safety. without bias, let me say that those things would bomb like you wouldnt believe...
