i hope this isnt just a pipe dream, but i really love martial arts. im currently taking a break from brazilian jiu jitsu, due to a slight shoulder injury, but im still doping my muay thai and boxing- hopefully turning me into a fairly decent striker. maybe in 6 years.. who knows? i was just wondering if anyone else had the same aspirations as i do, and if they do, hey, lets turn this into an encouragement thread. cheers!

Not sure if you meant going pro in 6 years or being a decent striker in 6. As far as the boxing part, you could be at a decent level in much less time if you 1.have good trainers/coaches and 2.apply what you're being taught.(this is as important as number 1.)
If you learn from a good coach, you'll quickly see how important things like redirecting an opponent's punch and HEAD MOVEMENT(can't stress this enough) are at minimizing the wear and tear to your face.
Good luck to you.
Edit: Misread your post. You're already doing Muay Thai & boxing? With a shoulder injury, damn.

I think about going Pro
but I dont nkow if I ever will
basically I plan on going as far with competition as I can, my abilities will decide how far that is, not my will
but as to if I think I can?
I go either way
sometimes I will be doing something and I'll thin you know what I CAN do this
and other times I'll think, there is no way I will ever manage this
overall tho I think I can do it
when I get depressed and down on myself it's usually when I'm sparring someone with a lot more experience
when I work with someone my level I'm generally on par or slightly ahead of them which I think is good
