He used to be the owner of Studio 54, now he runs the trendiest hotels in the world.

Anyone ever visit one like the DeLano, Mondrian, Paramount, Royalton, Hudson, etc. Did you like them?

I would recommend the Delano (I could actually relax there) and The Royalton to anyone. The Royalton used to be one of my old haunts to meet up with friends when I was still in the City. Now I stay there for business trips or Industry shows. The rooms vary - some are on the small side but The Royalton, I feel, was the starter of the Boutique Hotel trend.

While the Paramount is a sort of sister/brother of the Royalton I don't care for the location and the rooms are tiny as well. Philippe Starck is a rockin' designer either way.

The W Hotels can be quite comfortable as well - again it would depend on which you go to and the room you get. I would recommend those as well - in any City - they all follow a similar formula.

Velvett,

You must be a design whore too! :)
