I've been slowly putting together a list of nutritional facts for most of the foods we eat but its taking a while and information seems to be inconsistent. Plus, why re-invent the wheel? Anyone mind pasting their food database lists?
The only problem I have found is finding the right amount for servings or the right preparation method. Between these three, you can get pretty accurate. The second has macro and micronutrient info.
I like using Fitday.com. Whats really cool is that it lets you customize and store your own foods. So even if it doesn't have a particular thing you eat, you can add it manually, then bring it up whenever you want.
Wow, fitday is a great site...I love the personalized system for counting your daily intake with all the nitty gritty details. Great site, thanks again.
