Anyone know what software to use for making a proffesional label??

Gotta buddy thats wanting to start a business. The products he will be selling will be glass and he wants me to make a label he can print up for them. I don't want to spend a whole lotta time making it but I told him I'd see what I could do as I kinda owe him a favor. Would Photoshop 5.0 be a good choice? I have Photoshop 5 but have never used it. Are any of you guys good with stuff like this?

Pagemaker or Illustrator would be the best choice, but you probably will get away with Photoshop.

illustrator or quark are best because they are for that kind of thing and will print more cleanly.

don't use an inket btw... it won't look professional...

if you have access to a laserjet then use that.. or take it to a printer and have them print your files.

it shouldn't cost too much to have that done - it's usually 15 bucks or so for disc handling and then $1/copy

Pimp... don't make a label unless you have the UPC. There is no way to get SKU unless you have the barcode.
