Anyone know if REAL thai dbol has to have a beveled edge?

I got some pink thai dbol. It doesn't crush easily. It's exactly 3mm thick. And looks right ...

except it doesn't have a beveled edge. The few photos I've seen always show a beveled edge.

Anyone know if this stuff is fake?
