anyone know differences in these half-lifes?

Ok, this is a bit off topic for this board, but being that I learned all I do about half life's on this board, I figured this would be the best place to ask my question. I'm currently using injectable corticosteroids for alopecia treatment and have run across two similar products for a desired effect. One being triamcinolone acetonide, which I'm currently using, and the next being triamcinolone hexacetonide. Does anyone know offhand or where I might be able to find the differences in half lifes between these two compounds??

triamcinolone acetonide
triamcinolone hexacetonide.

much thanks

never heard of either of these exact compounds, but just from looking at the names, i can tell you that the acetonide would need to be shot a lot more often than the hexacetonide.

that is, if they are anything like the esters used in gear. i dont want to sound like i know what i'm talking about, but that would be my observation.

The most common agent currently used is methylprednisolone acetate (Depo-Medrol®), but Triacinolone acetonide (Kenalog®) and Triamcinolone hexacetonide (Aristospan®) are also used. These latter two agents have the advantage of greater half life. Commonly, a large joint such as a knee or shoulder would be injected with 40 mg (1 mL) of the methylprednisolone acetate solution
