Anyone know about mountain bikes ???

Im looking for a ok mountain bike...I looked at Dicks sporting goods at a Diamondback serrento for $200.....I dont want to spend much more. My boy rides a fat chance he paid 3k for 10 years ago...I dont need shit like that. Im just gunna keep my heart rate up hitting a neighborthood...A little offroad nothing serious though !!!

Not sure if they still even make them, but I have a Giant Iguana. Great all steel frame bike, probably $500 or so with no shocks.

You can find a good used one cheap if you are basically gonna keep it on pussy trails.

If you plan on mountain biking seriously you will have to spend some more money. Cheap bikes fall apart, tear up, cause injury, etc.

I went around this time of year to a local bike shop and got last years model cheap. I talked them down from an already discounted price because they are getting this years models in and want to clear out the previous years models. I would suggest trying that.
