Anyone install the google toolbar yet?

Its awesome, I recomend it to anyone. It puts the search engine right in your toolbar, has a million options, and the icing on the cake is that it has the best pop up blocker on the market - built in. You cant go wrong, jusdt go top google and click on the services and tools link, it DLs very quickly. Dont forget to show me your appreciation, for all my vast and innumerable contributions to this board.

There is an option to send back data for their page ranking system, but you can turn it off.

I got a virus that attaches onto the googlems.dll file and virus scan wouldn't detect it. Took me a few days to figure out how to get rid of it. You'll know you have it if your IE keeps being directed to www.idgsearch.com

i have had it for a while and only have 18 popups blocked. i think some people are looking at way too many pron sites here

I have it on all of my Windows systems and it has blocked an obscene amount of shit.

On OS X, it is built in (sort of) to Safari. The Google part doesn't have all of the features that I want, but the browser blocks pop-ups.

Then even better, I can install PithHelmet and it will allow me to selectively block banner ads - I click on them and choose to block it and it is done. It also has settings so that it looks for shapes that are banner ad shaped and blocks those too. That way I am not even downloading them.
And then to top it all off, it will reshape the page if it can so that you don't even know an ad was there.
It can't do it on Elite since it is part of a table and it can't compress the other parts, but it still works great (and I don't even see the Google ads at all).
