Anyone here own a chevy cavalier

I found a used one 97 for a cheap price. Its an ugly color but it gets good gas...Anyone know how these things run insurance wise?

My girl has one of these 2000 and I'm pretty sure she's at around $110 a month, but has had an accident and a ticket or two. I'll talk with her later and find out exactly what she pays. And the gas mileage is pretty sweet, we drove probably 1200 miles round trip plus a good 500 where we stayed while on vacation and filled up only 4 or 5 times.

I had one years back. It was a 90 - 92 ish model. 4 cylinder

Had it for about 5 or 6 years and never had any problems with it.

i had one a few years ago the only thing wrong with mine was that the passenger window woulnt roll down properly and it had a blown head gasket that made me have to put water in it every other day or so, i even carried a gallon with me and the front headlight got water behind it and it was extremely expensive to replace it so i didnt bother and the boot on the shifter was crack from sun degredation and allowed exhaust fumes in the car but not enough to kill me and the seats were stained as all hell but other than those minor problems it drove quite well, good luck!

p.s. i dont remember the insurance rates on the piece of shit.

Funny, I almost had the same experience. I finally just gave it away to a friend who blew out the engine going up a hill.

I drive a 2001 cavalier.

It's useless for most things...but good on gas and insurance.

A kid car
