don't admit anything
If asked at the recruiter's office if you've ever used drugs or AS, say NO. If you admit to smoking pot or using anything illegal, it may be the reason you don't get that Top Secret Clearance and a great job/post. Trust me, if the recruiter says something like "we've all done a little of something, sometime" just say you never did and stand your ground. If you admit too much, they might not even let you join! It's all a trick to make you admit to something. If I had to do it all over I'd have my recruiter put everything in writing, and who cares if asking them to do that might make you feel akward, you'll never see them again - ever. I never did AS while in the military, didn't really know anything about it, wish I would've been more interested... European ports are great sources.
