I'm considering applying to either Harvard or Stanford and I'm just curious if anyone here went to either for the MBA program?
I'm interested in Harvard b/c it is near where I am already and of course very good, and I am interested in Stanford moreso b/c it is harder to get into and has more of a tech side that I'd be interested in and perhaps more suited to.
The last case would be Penn but I'm not really interested in that one.
Right now I'm trying to decide to weather out the tech industry, to apply to business school, or law school (patent law in the long run - computer/technical side - I have connections with one of if not the best patent law firms in the country).
I'm staying late tonight at work and will be checking the board between compling and server restarts - so feel free to give any perspective on this.
I'm kind of addicted to the "making money" aspect of the tech industry right now, but it is also slowing down... which is always a good time to go to school (but all the schools are getting flooded with applications).
I'm going to look into taking the GMAT once I get back from my vacation (starts in 2 days). I've heard it is easy and from the practice onces I've glanced at, doesn't look too bad, but I need to take one to really know.
I'm tempted to just take the LSAT, GMAT, and GRE and see what I do best on and then decide from there (the gre for just a regular program - I have connections at the MIT media lab that I might try to leverage - but again, I kind of like making money and the only nice thing about student life is the time...)
