Anyone here from Virginia?

70 miles away.. if its in Virginia, then your'e somewhere past Gainesville??? Winchester?? Fredericksburg ? Dahlgren.... If in Maryland...past Baltimore ??? Cockeysville....or must be western maryland off of rt 15....

weather has really sucked all week.. rain and more rain... weekend looking a little better....at least gives me more time to get cut/shredded up for the summer...

Yeah, I'll be just outside Culpeper. Away from the noise and traffic, but still close enough to do almost anything...Where I am now the closest centre to us is Winnepeg (8 hours) and Minneapolis (6 hours). Can hardly wait to get there...

WEather today is great.

I think this is probably the most diverse part of the country. Pretty much everyone I know is *not* from here, but moved here from somewhere else far away.

Going to GWU, I met a lot of internationals and there are a lot of internationals all over.

What is there to do for fun? Good restaurants? Museums? Bars? Cultural stuff? It's gonna be an adventure! Seeing and doing all kinds of stuff...Football games close by, VIR...Checked out some funky little shops with somme cool artsy stuff. Where's the good shopping at?

I take it there's not much fun close by that area???

There's plenty of fun. Reston town center if you're far out, Tysons, Arlington, then of course DC.

You won't have a problem findign stuff to do . Find a copy of exress and the City Paper and you'll be rolling.

Culpepper is kind of out there. Which is fine I guess but if you're making a trip to the city it probably should be an all day type thing. DC has everything you need, bars, museums, shopping, sporting events, concerts, all that. Culpepper on the other hand..... I'm not so sure. You'll get more excitement reading a book.

Yeah, I gathered that much about Culpeper when I was there...That's okay as long as there are fun things to do near by, and then be able to retreat home to the quietness of the country. I'd be broke if I lived in or too close to the city! LOL! Thanks...
