I just find it so difficult to do my Homework and go to class everyday, any advice?

Yes go out and find some homeless people with nothing but a shopping cart full of plastic and popcans....this will be you in due time if you don't get your shit together. I have no sympathy for people handed the greatest opp on the planet and they squander it due to lack of motivation. Enjoy that new freeway underpass you'll someday call home sweet home.

Brother... have you thought of using Ridilan or adderall to help you concentrate? I've heard they are both a gem.

fuck that dude, you just gave me all the motivation I need.
thanks bro.

Go to a new psychiatrist...start saying things and not finishing them. Take something to drink with you and leave it sitting on the table in the lobby. Tell them that you can not concentrate on what people say for long periods of time...etc. Shit like this. ADD = Short Attention Span and Spastic Behavoir.

how about if he just shits himself..... would that work? I think we should send ssme out as a test subject....

You should have a Thanksgiving break coming soon!!
Then the Semester is almost over--
Then you get a Christmas break!!
Plus you really don't want to have to retake your courses!!

Hang in there--and Good Luck!!

He just wants some Adderal or Ritalin not Lithium or Prozac, you send in SSME for him, it'll be all that rubber room peanut butter covered nutts stuff going on in the Psych sessions.

hound the doctor will prescribe it to you, i got some and don't have ADD, if you have to just pretend you have ADD:fro:

Yes, I find it to be very troublesome. I have found an easy solution for this problem, as I no longer go to class everyday unless failure to attend will result in a lower grade. If that is the case, I show up to class to do work from other classes.

The way I figure is that if the teacher is doing a sufficient job, there is no need for additional work. Additional work = "I'm doing a shitty job in class. Go teach yourselves something."

Formal "education"... the biggest joke of the 20th-21st century.

I see college as------

A big hoop I got to jump through---Yeah i tripped a few times but I'm about to get out.

Warik---I could not agree more---damn teachers are lazy and dont do there job.

If I was a teacher I would give all students the answers and questions to the test and just switch the order up on test day.

The object is to learn----right?

Well I think most of 'em forgot about that---I think that they believe the object is to give the students hell, especially the ones that work full-time.

Adderall was the first thing that came to my mind, too. If you get a prescription, send me a couple- I'd take a couple of those over a case of beer any day.

Well I disagree with that questions/answers part. The point of education is to learn. Not to learn for a test - but to learn for the real world. I doubt that in military training school they had a test for generals that said: "You're hunting through an insignificant country of savages for a terrorist... do you a) do this, b) do that, c) do some other shit, d) all of the above, e) none of the above."

Unfortunately, that's how it was in my computer class. Everyone in my computer class now knows how to make a calculator... they all know how to make a simple encryption program... they all know how to make a scramble puzzle program... BUT NONE OF THEM KNOW HOW TO DO ANYTHING THAT EVEN SLIGHTLY DEVIATES FROM THAT! People are being educated incorrectly nowadays. It's all about passing that test or writing that paper.

What's funny about that? I educated my fucking self and I can still pass your stupid tests, write your stupid papers, and write your stupid programs faster than anyone in the class and still do better. 20th century education was a joke and 21st century education will follow its lead. Some girl in my math class got her test back... she got an 85/125 and was like: "Wow I did much better than I expected." I had not shown up to class for 2 1/2 weeks before the test... I got a 116/125 and thought: "Damn... I did shitty." No wonder I have a better grade in that class and every other.

For me ---Being near the end---its just about jumping through the hoop---If my teachers took my advise on the tests---my GPA would reflect and I would know the material----Now a 4.0--that would be great.

What I have learned about applications has come from work experience and studying on my own---I dont expect that from school.

learn to speedread. you can probably read (with the same level of comprehension) in 1/2-1/4 the time if you become a good speedreader.

take some adderall, ritalin, or piracetam

read books about self discipline, & how it applies to concentration

also, if applicable, drop a class you think you can study independently, then take a CLEP test to make up for the credit. that can cut 3 hours a week off your schedule.

I can't drop any classes,I have just enough credits(provided I pass). The problem I have is this,I pay attention in class,I do my work and I study for hours and days before tests. I work my ass off, then when the test comes I just barely pass, just barely. I don't fucking get it,no one else studies and get's A's. I study and bust my ass and just barely get by,fuck!

I did the same shit man, and I really regret it. But you gotta realize something, this whole game you knew all your life of having mom and dad pay for everything is almost over. The bills will add up more than you can fucking realize, and unless you antr to be working like a god damn slave just barely scratching by, it will make you appreciate an education a bit more

when i said drop a class, what i meant was a class you either

1. can learn independently
2. you already know enough about

then you take a CLEP test (CLEP tests are the college equavilent of a GED) for that course.

since your problem isn't a lack of studying, but a lack of studying that sticks with you i suggest you

1. take learning drugs (2CD, adderall, piracetam, hydergine, etc)

http://www.erowid.org/smarts/smarts.shtml

2. learn how to learn (read info on speed reading, concentration, comprehension, information absorbtion).

theres no guarantee, but that could help you learn a little better. now that i use pictures instead of words to remember things my memory is (as a guess) 30% better. if you use a tactic that makes your mind 15% better (take ginkgo, learn to speed read, etc) and do about 6 or 7 of those tactics then that can add up.

Sounds like you're burning yourself out early. You might be studying too much. Have to agree with nordstrom, read up on books regarding self discipline and how it applies to concentration. Also books on how to organize yourself when it comes to study habits.
